Loaded Potato Wedges {In Just 20-Minutes!}

Loaded potato wedges are bursting with flavor! They are so delicious everyone in my house goes crazy over them. Fair warning though, they are highly addictive and hard to eat just a few. This recipe for loaded potato wedges turns out perfect every time. The outside turns nice and crispy while the inside gets delicious and fluffy. As if that alone isn’t enough for you to say, “YES PLEASE!!!” the flavors from the bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onion are heavenly! To top it all off, dipping it in sour cream takes it to a whole new level of heavenly creamy, flavorful deliciousness!

Loaded potato wedges are scrumptious, yes, but they are also so filling in the best way! You will definitely be left satisfies when it is all said and done!

They are so easy to prepare! Just a few simple steps and a few dlecious ingredients and TA-DA! A super uncomplicated side or snack!

Loaded potato wedges are SO quick to make. Prepping the potatoes can be done in 1-2 minutes, microwaving the wedges takes about 10 minutes, preparing the wedges on the baking sheet (with glorious bacon and cheese) takes under a minutes, and then all that is left is to broil the loaded potato wedges for 5 minutes!

Loaded potatoes wedges would be perfect for game day parties, home date night side dishes, or for the middle of the night when you want something satisfyingly delicious!

The one thing that could make this a nightmare, is having a dull knife or too small of a knife. If this is your situation, here is a good one I recommend!

Loaded Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

  • 3 large russet potatoes (or 4 medium)
  • olive oil for brushing (2-4 Tbs.)
  • salt & pepper to taste (or some Cajun seasoning!)
  • 1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Sour cream, for serving

Instructions:

  • What each potato and cut into wedges. Place the wedges on a microwave safe plate or bowl. Microwave for 10 minutes, or until the wedges are tender. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Transfer the wedges to the baking sheet and brush each side with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the wedges with the cheese and bacon. Broil for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted to your liking. Top with green onions and serve with sour cream.
