If your kiddos are anything like mine, then bedtime can be a real struggle! My little people aren’t quite ready to stop experiencing the day at the same time that mommy just needs to go sit with a glass of wine and binge netflix, haha! After much googling, my sweet husband and I started doing a bedtime routine with them to help prepare them for sleepy time.

Part of that routine involves a warm bath, which for some kids can be a battle. What better way to get them willing to get in the tub than a colorful yummy smelling bath bomb?

These smell of delicious coton candy while sneakily having a good dose of lavender essential oil in there to help the relaxation and sleepy process along!

I know it looks like a lot, but it is really quite simple!

First, combine all the dry ingrediets in a large mixing bowl. Add in the mica powder and use  your hands to break down any lumps in the dry mixture while incorporating the mica into the dry ingredients.

Add in the lavender…

In a small microwave safe bowl, melt coconut oil in microwave for 25-30 seconds.  Add cotton candy scent to oil.

Add liquid to dry mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time.

After your mixture reaches the consistancy of wet sand that you can easily compact when squeezing together in your hand, add a bit of sprinkles to the bath bomb mixture if you’d like.

Add a bit of sprinkles to bath bomb mold and start filling tightly with the bath bomb mixture, making sure to overfill each side of the mold.

Firmly press molds together. Gently tap top and sides of mold and release the cotton candy bath bombs. Allow to dry overnight.

And there you have it folks! Super easy yummy smelling bath bombs that could get anyone relaxed and ready for bed!
