Homemade Macaroni and Cheese {Skip The Box!}

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese {Skip The Box} | Ten at the Table

I was raised on Tyson chicken nuggets, Ramen noodles, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Chef Boyardee Ravioli and  Kraft mac and cheese. When we switched to homemade, it was pretty abrupt and I am pretty sure I had processed food withdraw. Not really, but I really missed the convenience and yumminess!

I have tried many, many recipes to try to replace the boxed stuff.  And let me just tell you, they were all good. Well, most of them were but they just weren’t quite like the kind I was raised on. So I figured I’d play around with the ingredients, add a little bit of this, less of that, and I finally found the PERFECT recipe.

This recipe for homemade macaroni and cheese takes the same amount of time as the boxed counterparts, but it’s way better for you! I mean come on. 15 minutes until stupid awesome goodness in your bowl???? Sign me up!
