Easy Funfetti Slime {Step by Step}

My 4 year old has been begging for glitter slime for months, however, glitter is BANNED in my house because it gets everywhere and never goes away. SO this funfetti slime is the perfect solution to our months long glitter slime argument because it has that same colorful effect throughout and wont leave you looking like you just left a gay pride festival for days after you thought you had it all cleaned up.

Funfetti slime is great! It is edible (for those curious/put everything in their mouth little ones), takes just a few minutes to make, and smells a heck of a lot better than your typical glue/contact solution slime. Read More →

Cheesy Stuffed Artichoke

I want to say this cheesy stuffed artichoke recipe is a family favorite. BUT its more like a “the kids are finally asleep and mommy and daddy want to feel like grown ups who talk and dont eat dino nuggets for dinner for a second” type of meal in our house. Which could also be rephrased as “date night.”

At the end of a long day of putting out metaphorical fires caused by the kids, as much as i want to put a ton of effort into an at home date night, I’m beat. I need something pretty hands off and quick to pull together while my husband handles bedtime. Which is why I LOVE the cheesy stuffed artichokes! They steam for 25 minutes and broil in the oven for 5 minutes. So easy, so simple, and SO DELICIOUS! Read More →

Relaxing Cotton Candy Bath Bombs

Let me just tell you how these yummy smelling cotton candy bath bombs have saved me recently. Its that serious y’all.

If your kiddos are anything like mine, then bedtime can be a real struggle! My little people aren’t quite ready to stop experiencing the day at the same time that mommy just needs to go sit with a glass of wine and binge netflix, haha! After much googling, my sweet husband and I started doing a bedtime routine with them to help prepare them for sleepy time.

Part of that routine involves a warm bath, which for some kids can be a battle. What better way to get them willing to get in the tub than a colorful yummy smelling bath bomb?  Read More →
