My 4 year old has been begging for glitter slime for months, however, glitter is BANNED in my house because it gets everywhere and never goes away. SO this funfetti slime is the perfect solution to our months long glitter slime argument because it has that same colorful effect throughout and wont leave you looking like you just left a gay pride festival for days after you thought you had it all cleaned up.

I never really considered myself “girly” or into pretty things until I moved into my own place and became a stay at home mom. I’m not saying I had more time to decorate but I certainly spent more time at home that I did before and it really ate away at my sense of self and sanity to have my home not look the way I would like it to. So I did what any normal mom does and I looked on Pinterest, lol.

 

The links to the products were pretty pricey honestly. We had gone from 2 incomes to one since I became a stay at home mom , so most of the things I wanted to get were out of our price range. To get ALL of the things I wanted we would have had to save for months to get them. So these BEAUTIFUL and inexpensive DIY ideas were some of the things I found to look almost exactly like the products I had on my wish list in the first place!

Raise your hand if you have a hard time getting your kid to eat their lunch or snack at school! *raising both of my hands high!* My daughter was NOT eating her snacks at school about 60% of the time. When she did eat it, she would never finish it. Even if I sent her with her favorite foods she would come home not having eaten but 2 bites. So I decided to try to make a cute snack bag that would draw her attention away from the fascinating conversations that her and her 4 year old friends would be having and actually notice the food sitting in front of her. And what do you know? It WORKED! She said all her friends loved her butterfly and she ended up eating the whole thing!
